Chuckie Jerome Pitts

Mr. Chuckie J. Pitts, 60 years old of Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at his residence.

Chuckie attended the public schools of Jasper County. He was a proud graduate of the Ridgeland High School Trojans. He was entrusted with the responsibility of getting students to and from school as a school bus driver. A job he loved and excelled at doing. After graduation he was employed by the South Carolina Department of Transportation were he served faithfully until his health began to fail. Chuckie grow up worshiping his Lord and Savior as a member of St. John AME Church where the ground work was laid for his Christian walk with God. He later joined Miracle Deliverance Tabernacle, Inc.. After many years of faithful service at Miracle Deliverance Tabernacle, Deacon Pitts then joined Meekness of the Spirit where he continued to do God’s work. He served faithfully in the office of deacon until his death. Deacon Pitts understood that this life was temporary ,and  he rejoiced in knowing the Lord.

Chuckie leaves behind his loving  sister; Janie Pitts ,one devoted aunt, Mrs.  Flora Taylor Patterson, and a host of cousins, family and loving and caring friends.

A Walk-Thru will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina from 5-7 PM.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021; 11:00 AM at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina

Burial will take place at Kennedy-Taylor Memorial Cemetery in Ridgeland, South Carolina
