Deacon Lester Medlock

Deacon Lester Medlock, 91 years old of Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, November 04, 2021 at his residence. 

Mr. Medlock received his education for Jasper County public schools, after graduation he joined the United States Army, where he served as a Sergeant  and dedicated his life for over 21 years. He was a faithful member of Lovely Hill Baptist Church in Ridgeland, South Carolina and he served  faithfully on the Deacon board. 

Deacon Medlock will be forever missed by his adopted nieces as daughters; Mary (Joseph) and Diane (Leon) , adopted grandchildren/nieces and with nephews; Michelle (Everett) Bostick, Kammie Mitchell, Oliver MItchell, Lavar Medlock, Latrelle (Eric) Jenkins, Anastachia (Antonio) McBride, Joseph Medlock and Cynthia Medlock. A special friend; James (Hunky) Mitchell, Jr. Along with several other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A Walk-Thru will be held on Thursday, November 11,  2021 at Lovely Hill Baptist Church in Ridgeland, South Carolina from 5-7 PM.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Mount Carmel Baptist Center in Ridgeland, South Carolina at 1:00 PM.

Burial will take place at Grahamville Cemetery in Ridgeland, South Carolina.
