Mr. Alphonso “BUSTER” Tyler, 90 years old of Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville, South Carolina.
Mr. Buster was a graduated of Colleton County High School in Walterboro, South Carolina. He was a member of Saint John African Methodist Episcopal Church in Ridgeland, South Carolina, Mr. Buster served as a Steward of the church and he also was a Class Leader.
In Jasper County, we all are going to miss, Mr. Buster delicious and fresh produce truck along with a few words and a small smile that was especially known in the town of Ridgeland, South Carolina.
Mr. Buster leaves his cherish memories; brothers, John Tyler, Carl (Thomasina) Tyler, sisters; Vergie “Lois” Tyler-Taylor, Jacqueline (Dr. John) Holly and Gloria (Michael, LTC (retired)) Duncan, sisters-in-law; Jessie W. Tyler, Willie Mae Tyler, Ella Mae Pearson and Sadie Manning, Mr. Buster also has a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom he loved dearly.
A Walk-Thru will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina from 3-5 PM
A Graveside Service and burial will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 at St. John AME Church in Ridgeland, South Carolina at 1:00 PM
