Mr. Anthony "Mark" Martinez Garrett

Mr. Anthony “Mark” Martinez Garrett, 63 years old of Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, January 06, 2025, at his residence.

Mr. Garrett was a graduate of West Wood School District in Inkster, Michigan.

He was employed with Beaufort Gazette-Island Packet newspaper, for over 10 years. Mr. Garrett greatest joy from his job was engaging with others, he loved meeting new people, had never met a stranger, and he had a devoted love for his family. 

He leaves his loved ones to cherish his memories; His wife; Rhonda King-Garrett, his son; Anthony “Nez” Martinez Garrett, two sisters; Desiree Garrett-Johnson and Tina Garrett, and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews, other relatives, and friends.

Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina at 11:00 AM.

Always remember to wear a mask, to protect others as well as yourself, mask works best when everyone wears one. A mask is not a substitute for social distancing, masks should be worn in addition to staying 6 feet apart, especially when indoors around people who do not live in your household.
