Mr. Derick Anthony Duncan, 27 years old of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Easton, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Duncan graduated from East Stroudsburg High School, where he played several sports, he was very athletic.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his loving mom; Theresa Duncan, his dad; Erick Duncan, Sr.,(Jacqueline Armstead “stepmom”), his brother; Erick Duncan, Jr., a daughter; Gianna Marie Duncan and one niece; Lyla Rose Duncan, Five aunts and two uncles; Chitova (Toni) Whetstone, Emanuel Whetstone, Regina Jarvis, Janice Ice, Karen (Charles) Whetstone, John (Selena) Gethers, Jr., and Davita (Mike) Roberts, his paternal grandparents; Norman (Topsy) Duncan, Jr., maternal grandparent; John Gethers, and Dorothy Whetstone. A host of cousins, friends and other relatives.
A Walk-Thru will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina from 5-7 PM.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Solomon Temple Church of God located at 57 Solomon Temple Road, Garnett, South Carolina 29922, at 11:00 AM.
Burial will take place at the church cemetery.
Always remember to wear a mask, to protect others as well as yourself, mask works best when everyone wears one. A mask is not a substitute for social distancing, masks should be worn in addition to staying 6 feet apart, especially when indoors around people who do not live in your household.
