Mr. Earnest Walter Goethe

Mr. Earnest Walter Goethe, 86 years old of Wagon Branch Community in Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at his residence with his loving family.

Mr. Goethe attended the public and high schools in New York City. After retirement in New York City, he moved back home in South Carolina.

He went and started farming and helping other people in his community with whatever was needed to be done. Mr. Goethe was an outgoing person who never met a stranger.

He leaves behind his family; Four children; Johnny Lee Goethe, Fredina Covington, Vernon Covington, and Michael Covington, One sister; Arnett M. Carter. Twenty grandchildren, Thirty great-grandchildren and twenty-five great-great grandchildren Two nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina at 12:00 Noon.

Prior to funeral service, there will be viewing from 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon at the funeral home.

Always remember to wear a mask, to protect others as well as yourself, mask works best when everyone wears one. A mask is not a substitute for social distancing, masks should be worn in addition to staying 6 feet apart, especially when indoors around people who do not live in your household.
