Mr. Franklin Taylor, 81 years old of Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville, South Carolina.
Mr. Franklin, otherwise known as “BUCK,” by most who had known him especially family and friends. Buck was educated in Jasper County. He was a well-known gospel singer and musician, with his baritone voice, he used to sing with the group called “The New Four.”
Buck was employed with Ridgeland Nursing Home Center for several years and he also was a certified Floor Technician for numerous commercial accounts.
Buck leaves his loving memories to his family; One son; Carey (Jodie) Cunningham, Three grandchildren and One great grandson, Three sisters; Julia Mae Adkins, Lillian Wilson, and Frankie Mae Glover, One sister-in-law; Leana Mae Taylor, Two aunts; Lila Heyward and Marie Duncan. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Walk-Thru will be held on Friday, May 05, 2023, at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina from 6-8 PM.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 06, 2023, at Hopewell CME Church in Scotia, South Carolina at 1:00 PM.
Burial will take place a Breeler Field Cemetery in Garnett, South Carolina.
Always remember to wear a mask, you protect others as well as yourself, mask works best when everyone wears one. A mask is not a substitute for social distancing, masks should be worn in addition to staying 6 feet apart, especially when indoors around people who do not live in your household.
