Mr. James Mason Robinson

Mr. James M. Robinson, 91 years old of Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville, South Carolina.

Mr. Robinson attended the Virginia School System in Essex County, in Virginia.

He worked at Salisbury State University in Virginia for many years until his retirement. Mr. Robinson was kind, humble, and a quiet person if you had known him.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his loving and devoted wife; Emily H. Robinson, one adopted daughter; Brenda Wofford, one step daughter; Gail McCrea, five sisters in law; Josie (Leroy) Wood, Vergie Heyward, Barbara Heyward, Rebecca Goode and Elizabeth Hodges, three brothers in law; Nelson Hicks (he was also his special friend), Cleo Woods and Edgar H. Thompson,  a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Along with nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

A Walk-Thru will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina from 5-7 PM.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023, at Lovely Hill Baptist Church in Ridgeland, South Carolina at 1:00 PM.

Burial will take place at Grahamville Cemetery in Ridgeland, South Carolina.

Always remember to wear a mask, to protect others as well as yourself, mask works best when everyone wears one. A mask is not a substitute for social distancing, masks should be worn in addition to staying 6 feet apart, especially when indoors around people who do not live in your household.
