Mr. James Franklin Simmons, 88 years old of Wagon Branch Community in Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022, at his residence
Mr. Franklin was a faithful child of God and devout Christian of Saint John AME Church in Ridgeland, South Carolina, where he served as an usher and sang on the Men’s Chorus. He was a loyal and respected Mason member of the Happy Home Lodge, Chapter #125 for many years.
Mr. Franklin had never met a stranger, he showed it through his smiles and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories; his devoted sister; Louvonia S. (Oliver C.) Hall, one niece; Cara D. Hutson, along with many loving cousins and friends.
A Walk-Thru will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina from 5-7PM.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022; 11:00 AM at Saint John AME Church (setup on the grounds of the church) in Ridgeland, South Carolina.
Burial will take place at the church cemetery.
