Mr. Joseph Lee Orr

Mr. Joseph Lee Orr, 73 years old of Hilton Head, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024, at Hampton Regional Medical Center in Varnville, South Carolina.

Mr. Orr was educated in the public schools of Jasper County School System. He loved music class in high school, playing the saxophone was his passion.

After graduating high school, Mr. Orr became a truck driver, during the many years he was driving, it became his career. He later moved to Virginia, where he open a mechanic shop for servicing trucks. During that time living in Virginia, Mr. Orr. joined Advancing the Kingdom of God Church. Mr. Orr worked many years repairing trucks until his health started failing and moved back to South Carolina to be with his family.

He leaves to cherish his memories; His daughter; Josett Moore, four sons; Cedric (Monika) Simmons, Joseph Orr, Jr., Dontez Pinckney, and Troy Orr, one sister; Sarah Orr, nine grandchildren and two great grands. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Walk-Thru will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina from 5-7 PM.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina at 12:00 Noon.

Burial will take place at Hampton Cemetery in Hampton, South Carolina.

Always remember to wear a mask, to protect others as well as yourself, mask works best when everyone wears one. A mask is not a substitute for social distancing, masks should be worn in addition to staying 6 feet apart, especially when indoors around people who do not live in your household.
