Mr. Larry (Love) Swinton

Mr. Larry “Love” Swinton, 71 years old of Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2024, in Ridgeland, South Carolina.

Mr. Swinton received his education at the public schools in New York City, New York. After completing school, he later started working at various jobs learning different trades. Mr. Swinton then decided to move to Ridgeland, South Carolina, to be closer to his family.

He was a quiet and peaceful man, and he never met a stranger. Mr. Swinton loved his family, and they loved spending time with him as well.

He leaves to cherish his memories; His son; Jamel Swinton, five grandchildren, one great grandchild, four sisters; Rosella Praylow, Cynthis Willis, Caregiver/sister, Paula S. Willis and Patricia Swinton, three brothers; James (Crystal) Swinton, Leonard Swinton and Tommy (Michelle) Swinton, one uncle; Gerald Swinton, one aunt; Aremethia Swinton, one special grandniece; Sharaya Wilson, two special grandnephews; D.J. and Shawn Orr. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 08, 2024, at Zion Oak Grove Baptist Church in Ridgeland, South Carolina at 11:00 AM.

Always remember to wear a mask, to protect others as well as yourself, mask works best when everyone wears one. A mask is not a substitute for social distancing, masks should be worn in addition to staying 6 feet apart, especially when indoors around people who do not live in your household.
