Mr. Lawrence “Nute/Sweetman” Bostick, Jr., 80 years old of Pineland, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at the home of his devoted sister (Gladys) and her husband in Rivershill Community in Pineland, South Carolina.
Mr. Lawrence accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at an early age and joined Mount Zion AME Church in Garnett, South Carolina. Later in his life he attended Bethel Baptist Church (named Bethel Missionary Baptist Church as of today) in Pineland, South Carolina, where some of his family members are a member. “Sweetman” favorite times were walking Highway 462 to Highway 601 to visit friends and some of his family.
“Sweetman” leaves to cherish his memories are his siblings; Lewis Bostick, Sarah B. Howell, Rodgers Bostick, Larry Bostick, Roamell “Mal” Bostick, Bronco Bostick and Gladys B. Williams, One brother-in-law; Calvin Williams, Three sisters in law; Patricia Bostick, Diane Bostick and Luteley Bostick, along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Walk-Thru will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022, at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina from 5-7 PM.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Pineland, South Carolina at 11:00 AM.
Burial will take place at Lawton Cemetery in Robertville, South Carolina.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO WEAR A MASK. YOU PROTECT OTHERS AS WELL AS YOURSELF. MASKS WORK BEST WHEN EVERYONE WEARS ONE. A MASK IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR SOCIAL DISTANCING. MASKS SHOULD BE WORN IN ADDITION TO STAYING AT LEAST 6 FEET APART, ESPECIALLY WHEN INDOORS AND AROUND PEOPLE WHO DO NOT LIVE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD.
