Mr. Louis Jones

Mr. Louis Jones, 88 years old of Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023, at his residence with his family.

Mr. Jones attended Jasper County Schools. He was a diligent mechanic at Horry Water Well for many years. When he could no longer work, he would spend time to himself and family members.

Mr. Jones leaves to cherish his memories; Three daughters; Mary (John) Darien, Hithenias (Frank) Merlino and Shameka Jones. Three sons; James (Shawn) Jones, Jerome Simmons, and Louis Jones. Four sisters; Florrie E. Jones, Mary Mitchell, Amarie Scott and Moddie (Uriel) Harris. Two brothers; Frank Jones and Albert Jones. Two sisters in law; Frances Jones and Mary A. Frazier, Eighteen Grandchildren, fifteen great- grandchildren. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 04, 2023, at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina at 11:00 AM.

Prior to funeral, there will be a viewing at the funeral home from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM.

Burial will take place at Button Cemetery in Ridgeland, South Carolina.

Always remember to wear a mask, to protect others as well as yourself, mask works best when everyone wears one. A mask is not a substitute for social distancing, masks should be worn in addition to staying 6 feet apart, especially when indoors around people who do not live in your household.
