Mr. Ronald Eric Drayton

Mr. Ronald Drayton, 73 years old of Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, October 06, 2023, at Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville, South Carolina. 

During completion in high school, he studied a class on how to use sheet metal at Queens Vocational High School. Mr. Drayton joined United States Air Force for several years until he received an Honorable Discharge.

He was employed with Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, Georgia, he used to specialize in blueprints, and making hand tools with sheet metal this too was something he learned during his high school training.

He leaves to mourn his love; his mother; Mrs. Sadie Patterson Drayton, One brother; Eddie Drayton, Three uncles; Deacon Isaac “Ike” Patterson, Esau Patterson, and Jacob Patterson, Four aunts; Rumell Patterson, Daisy Burrison, Rebecca German, and Gertrude Stevenson. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Saint John AME Church in Ridgeland, South Carolina at 12:00 PM.

Viewing will be 1 hour before service, 11am-12pm at Saint John AME Church.

Burial will take place at Patterson Cemetery in Ridgeland, South Carolina.

Always remember to wear a mask, to protect others as well as yourself, mask works best when everyone wears one. A mask is not a substitute for social distancing, masks should be worn in addition to staying 6 feet apart, especially when indoors around people who do not live in your household.
