Mr. Theophus D. Orr, Sr.

Mr. Theophus Douglas Orr, Sr., 73 years old formerly of Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, in Texas.

Mr. Orr received Jesus Christ at an early age at Good Hope Baptist Church in Pineland, South Carolina. He was a graduate of Ridgeland High School. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Midlothian, Texas for many years.

Mr. Orr relocated to New Jersey, there he discovered his love for driving trucks, which was his passion.

Mr. Orr leaves his beautiful family to cherish his memories; His children; Cristal C. Orr-Flounoy, Theophus Douglas (Angela) Orr, Jr., Racquel Orr-Hodges, Ten grandchildren, One great grandchild, His siblings; Herman (Angela) Orr, Melvin (Betty) Orr, Verleen (Norman) Murray, Zylphia Orr, and One Uncle; Robert "Bobby" Solomon, Sr. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Nazarene Baptist Church Cemetery in Pineland, South Carolina, at 11:00 AM.

A viewing will take place at the cemetery in Pineland, South Carolina, from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM.

Always remember to wear a mask, you protect others as well as yourself, mask works best when everyone wears one. A mask is not a substitute for social distancing, masks should be worn in addition to staying 6 feet apart, especially when indoors around people who do not live in your household.
