Mr. William "Daddy Rat" Rhett, Jr.

Mr. William “Daddy Rat” Rhett, Jr., 67 years old of Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia.

Mr. Rhett was a graduate of Ridgeland High School back in 1975. After graduation he moved to Detroit, Michigan and got a job with Ford Motor Company.

Mr. Rhett was known as “Daddy Rat” among his family and friends. He was the type of person who loved to be around his family and close friends, and no one was a stranger to “Daddy Rat.

A Walk-Thru will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina from 5-7 PM.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023, at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina at 12:00 Noon.

Burial will take place at Grahamville Cemetery in Ridgeland, South Carolina.

Always remember to wear a mask, you protect others as well as yourself, mask works best when everyone wears one. A mask is not a substitute for social distancing, masks should be worn in addition to staying 6 feet apart, especially when indoors around people who do not live in your household.
