Mrs. Carolyn Diane Mervin Mitchell

Mrs. Carolyn Diane Mervin Mitchell, 58 years old of Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, May 9th at their (husband-Rickie) residence. A Walk-thru will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina from 6-7 PM. A Graveside & Burial Service will be on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Grahamville Cemetery in Ridgeland, South Carolina at 11:00 AM. CDC Guidelines are still in place, wearing of a mask and remaining six feet apart. Please stay safe!!!

Carolyn’s passion in life was taking care of her children and family and working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for over 30 years.

Carolyn was married to the love of her life, Rick Mitchell, on June 24, 2015 and resided with her husband in Ridgeland, South Carolina.

Carolyn leaves to cherish her memories:  her husband whom she loved dearly, Ricki Mitchell; five children:  her oldest son Jermaine Warren, her son Raheem Mervin, her son Robert Mervin, her son Daquan Mervin and her daughter Nechelle Mervin; her very special nieces whom she helped raised, Bernadette Mervin, Chaztity Star Hodge and Shakeyan Mervin.  She also leaves behind her grandchildren Alani Mervin and Joziah Mervin; her brother Ricki Johnny Mervin; her four sisters, Theada Mary Bryant, Linda Ann, Lenora Mervin, Diane Washington Burns along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
