Mrs. Doretha McCullough-Coger

Mrs. Doretha McCullough- Coger, 80 years old of Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, March 01, 2026, at Roper Saint Francis Berkeley Hospital in Summerville, South Carolina.

She was educated in Jasper County School system in Ridgeland, South Carolina.

Mrs. McCullough-Coger was a member of Saint John AME Church at an early age, and she served on numerous boards until her health failed, she was truly a woman that loved the Lord.

Mrs. McCullough-Coger leaves to cherish her memories are her four devoted sons; Kelvin (Mary) McCullough, Min. Maurice (Elizabeth) McCullough, Travis (Kim) McCullough and Pernell (Kenyetta) Coger, Jr., Two loving sisters; Hattie George and Inez McCullough, 14 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 07, 2026, at Saint John AME Church in Ridgeland, South Carolina at 2:00 PM.

Prior to funeral service, visitation will be held at the church from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM.

Burial will take place at the church cemetery.

Always remember to wear a mask, to protect others as well as yourself, mask works best when everyone wears one. A mask is not a substitute for social distancing, masks should be worn in addition to staying 6 feet apart, especially when indoors around people who do not live in your household.
