Mrs. Dorothy Mae "King" Singleton, 93 years old, of Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville, South Carolina.
Mrs. Singleton was educated at Jasper County Schools in Ridgeland, South Carolina.
She gave her life to Christ at an early age at Second Euhaw Baptist Church in Ridgeland, South Carolina, where she served on the Usher Board. Later, she moved her membership to Open Door Bible Way Holiness Church in Ridgeland, South Carolina. Mrs. Singleton was a member of the choir for so many years, she used to say, “God gave her this gift and she had intend to glorify His name,” until her health started to decline.
Mrs. Singleton had a kindhearted spirit with deep love for family, friends, and her church family.
Her memories will always be cherished by her loved ones; One son; Julius, Jr. (Betty) Singleton, Three grandchildren; Valicia (Darnell) Hunter and Gwendolyn Alston, Eight great grandchildren; Salonia N. Singleton, Du’Heem V. Singleton ( Zeniah Locke), Aljaquan Hugue, Tibias Alston, Sharyia Greene, Jolia Singleton and Quamas Singleton, One loving sister; Willie Nell K. Gaston Hill. A host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, devoted family, and friends.
Walk-Thru will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina from 5-7 PM.
Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 01, 2023, at Kingdom Touch Ministries in Ridgeland, South Carolina at 1:00 PM.
Burial will take place at King Cemetery in Ridgeland, South Carolina.
Always remember to wear a mask, to protect others as well as yourself, mask works best when everyone wears one. A mask is not a substitute for social distancing, masks should be worn in addition to staying 6 feet apart, especially when indoors around people who do not live in your household.
