Mrs. Jeannette Smith Obituary

Mrs. Jeannette Smith, 77 years old of Robertville, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Jeannette attended and graduated from Jasper County School. At an early age, she joined Saint Matthew Baptist Church in Ridgeland, South Carolina.  After finishing high school, Mrs. Jeannette moved to New York City, she worked faithfully on the Gospel Chorus, The Missionary Circle, and many other auxiliaries.

Mrs. Jeannette was a kindhearted person, she did a lot of good on this earth for others, from the love of God.

She leaves behind her memories to; her husband of 56 years; Mr. Richard A. Smith, Sr., her daughters; Demress (Lawrence) Diaz and Monee’ Smith, her sons; Richard A. ( Monique) Smith, Eugene Smith and Khorey (Asia) Smith, her grandchildren; Kelsey, Josiah, Jonathon, Shyneek, Richard, III, Naza’ Rhea and Khody, her brother; Ervin (Julia) Waters, sister-cousins; Della Allen, Martha Waters, Margaret Dobson, Shirley Williams, Jennifer (Freddie) Sledge, Linda (AL) Artis and Ruth Ann Burrison, aunt: Mrs. Florence Morse, sister in law; Helen Stokes, brother in law; Samuel Spencer Smith, brothers; William H. (Josephine) Wright, Elder Harold (Fannie) Wright, Elvin Wright and Nathaniel (Carolyn) Jenkins, sisters; Jannie Bush, Rose (Herman) Harris and sister; Dorothy DeVore. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends all over the world.

 

A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina

(IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING VIEWING)

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022; 11:00 AM at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina

Burial will be held at Lawton Cemetery in Robertville, South Carolina.

Repast: Tarboro Community Center at 370 Pinehaven Drive in Tillman, South Carolina 29943.

 

WHEN YOU WEAR A MASK, YOU PROTECT OTHERS AS WELL AS YOURSELF. MASKS WORK BEST WHEN EVERYONE WEARS ONE. A MASK IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR SOCIAL DISTANCING. MASKS SHOULD BE WORN IN ADDITION TO STAYING AT LEAST 6 FEET APART, ESPECIALLY WHEN INDOORS AROUND PEOPLE WHO DO NOT LIVE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD.
