Mrs. Naomi Simmons Rickenson

Mrs. Naomi Simmons Rickenson, 95 years old of Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at her daughter (Jean) home in Beaufort, South Carolina.

Mrs. Rickenson was a woman of God, who was converted at an early age and became a member of  Saint Matthew Baptist Church in Tillman, South Carolina. When Mrs. Rickenson became ill years later, she relocated to live with her daughter Jean Simmons, she decided to joined Bethesda Christian Fellowship in Saint Helena Island, South Carolina.

Mrs. Rickenson was married to the late Mr. Moses Rickenson. She was a small woman with a big heart and a small voice.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: Her daughters; Jean M. Simmons, Ramona (Richard) Banks and Tabitha Simmons, Her son; Tyrone M. (Regenia)  Simmons, four grandsons, two granddaughters, one great granddaughter and five great grandsons, Her brother; Adolph (Katrina) Simmons, Sr.,one sister in law; Deborah Littlefield, two brothers in law; Dr. Clarence Richardson and George Williams. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Kirk Cemetery located in Tillman, South Carolina @ 11:00 AM

IN LIGHT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC; it is being recommended by the South Carolina Morticians Association Inc., to encourage families to have a graveside service with a small gathering of family and friends!!
