Ms. Daisey Mae Housey, 78 years old of Robertville Community in Garnett, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024, at her residence with her loving family.
Ms. Housey attended Hampton County Schools.
At an early age she joined King Branch Baptist Church in Garnett, South Carolina under the leadership of the late Reverend Robert Wright.
Ms. Housey was such a generous person, always helping and loving people by feeding them along with sharing whatever she had in her garden. Her heart was always full of love when she could make someone happy. She loved spending time with her family and dearest friends.
She leaves to cherish her memories ; Two daughters; Annie (Apostle Harrison) Sanders and Tameeka Bright, Two sons; Winfield and Sedrick Housey, Eight sisters; Rosa Gadson, Annie Mae Smart, Alice (Richard) Young, Carrie Bell Housey, Sarah (Sidney) Jones, Linda Mae Ware, Eunice Cole and Laura Anderson, Four brothers; Deacon Eddie (Robin) Housey, Sr., James Whitney, Jr., Harry Lee Whitney, Jr., Andrew Whitney, 19 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Walk-Thru will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina from 5-7 PM.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at House of Prayer Deliverance Church at 2436 Walterboro Highway in Varnville, South Carolina 29944, at 12:00 Noon.
Burial will take place at Lawton Cemetery in Robertville, South Carolina.
Always remember to wear a mask, to protect others as well as yourself, mask works best when everyone wears one. A mask is not a substitute for social distancing, masks should be worn in addition to staying 6 feet apart, especially when indoors around people who do not live in your household.
