Ms. Gwendolyn Frances Young

Ms. Gwendolyn Frances Young, 63 years old of Hardeeville, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at her residence. 

Ms. Young was educated at Jasper County Schools in Ridgeland, South Carolina. After graduating high school, she attended South Carolina State College in Orangeburg, South Carolina, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.
She was a member of Arm Oak Baptist Church in Hardeeville, South Carolina, where she served faithfully for the Lord.

Ms. Young was an educator in Jasper County School systems for many years, she loved educating the students to their fullest potential and always had a listening ear when and if they needed her.

Ms. Young leaves to cherish her loving memories, son; Darius Young, Five siblings; Christopher (Blanche) Young, Constance Young, Cheryl (James “Ted”)
Zinnerman, Frank R. (Angela) Young, Jr., and Craig Young, One sister-in-law; Dionne Terri Young. A host of aunts, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, cousins, and numerous friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Mount Carmel Baptist Center in Ridgeland, South Carolina at 12:00 Noon.

Viewing will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 11:00 AM- 12:00 Noon, prior to the service.

Burial will take place at Porter Cemetery in Hardeeville, South Carolina.

Always remember to wear a mask, to protect others as well as yourself, mask works best when everyone wears one. A mask is not a substitute for social distancing, masks should be worn in addition to staying 6 feet apart, especially when indoors around people who do not live in your household.
