Ollie Mae Olidge was born in Ridgeland, South Carolina on June 24, 1937 to the late Claude and Frances Olidge. Ollie was the second of nine children. Ollie attended Jasper County Schools and at an early age she moved to Philadelphia Pa. where she began working at Elkins-Sinn Pharmaceuticals and later retired from Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.
Ollie was a member of Pauline B. Grant CME Church where she served in many capacities which included teaching Sunday School, Choir Member, Missionary Board Member, Stewardess and Class Leader. Outside of her church she served her general community by volunteering at Aspen Nursing Home. Ollie believed in living and loving life and did all she could to help anyone that she came in contact with.
Ollie Mae, as she was affectional called departed this earth on April 22, 2021. She leaves to mourn (4) sisters, Claudia Johnson, Pastor, Dr. Betty Ferguson, Missionary Lou Francis Deloach (Elder Wesley), Missionary Moudestine Samuel (1) brother Claude Olidge Jr., (2) Sister in Laws: Doris Olidge, and Nancy Diane Olidge, (1) Aunt: Daisy Partridge, host of nieces, nephews, cousins’ additional family James Wilson Jr (Theresa) Charles Edward Wilson, Calvin Dennis Wilson, and Terrie Council (Raymond) in addition to a host of friends.
A Walk-Thru will be held on Sunday, May 02, 2021 at Bostick Funeral Home in Ridgeland, South Carolina from 4-6 PM
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, May 03, 2021, 12:00 Noon at Olidge Cemetery in Ridgeland, South Carolina
