Ms. Virginia Goodman

Ms. Virginia Goodman, 66 years old of Robertville Community in Garnett, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at her residence.

Ms. Goodman attended the public schools in Ridgeland, South Carolina.  She was a member of Mount Zion AME Church in Garnett, South Carolina, where she served on the Usher Board for many years. She loved serving the Lord and being a faithful servant.

Ms. Goodman was employed with Palmetto Dunes Resort on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, for over 20 years as a supervisor and she enjoyed her job.

Ms. Goodman leaves to cherish her memories to; Her mother; Laura McPherson Russell, two daughters; Pamela G. Grayson and LaSandra Goodman, “like her son”; Levy  Clemons, one grandson, four sisters; Francis (Eugene) Taylor, Barbara Brown, Diane (Earl) McCall and Michelle (Darriel) Hughee, four brothers; Richard McPherson, Michael Russell, Tyrone (Melonie) Goodman and Derrick Goodman, one aunt; Hattie Mae Housey, along with of host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Mount Zion AME Church in Garnett, South Carolina at 1:00 PM.
Viewing will be held at the church on Saturday, from 12:00 Noon-1:00 PM.

Burial will take place at Lawton Cemetery in Robertville, South Carolina.

Always remember to wear a mask, to protect others as well as yourself, mask works best when everyone wears one. A mask is not a substitute for social distancing, masks should be worn in addition to staying 6 feet apart, especially when indoors around people who do not live in your household.
