Pastor William Borum, Jr., 89 years old of Estill, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, September 07, 2024, at his residence with his loving wife and family.
Pastor Borum was a graduated of Glen Cove High School in New York City.
He joined First Church of God in Christ and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into his life in the city of Glen Cove, located on Long Island, New York and was baptized in the Holy Ghost. Pastor Borum wanted to live for the word of God during his tenure, he served faithfully under the leadership of his pastor, Superintendent Dr. Jasper Pettus until his demise.
Pastor Borum loved serving and living in God’s words, through his ministry he served in various community-based organizations to help and aid with others who are in need along with teaching the word of God.
Pastor Borum leaves his loving memories to his devoted wife; Missionary Carolyn Borum, One daughter; Denise Borum, One sister; Beverly Borum-Miller, One brother; Kenneth (Mariatu) Borum, Five; sisters-in-law; Maebell Johnson, Ethel (Ed) McGaw and Eliza Willis, Deborah Aiken and Pat Aiken and One brother-in-law; Timothy (Patricia) Aiken. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and loving friends.
A Wake Service will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 5-7 PM, at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina.
Funeral Service will be held at Solomon Temple Church, North of Highway 462 between Robertville &Tye Branch Road in Robertville, South Carolina on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 10:00 AM-11:00AM at Solomon Temple Church located in Robertville, South Carolina.
Burial will take place at the church cemetery.
Always remember to wear a mask, to protect others as well as yourself, mask works best when everyone wears one. A mask is not a substitute for social distancing, masks should be worn in addition to staying 6 feet apart, especially when indoors around people who do not live in your household.
