Mr. Thomas Speaks, 78 years old formerly of Scotia, South Carolina, and was a long-time resident of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in North Carolina.
Mr. Speaks was a devoted father, a loving grandfather, great grandfather and brother. He was the type of person who you did not have to asked twice to lend a hand, whether for a stranger, a friend and especially not his family, for him God’s blessing never stop. Mr. Speaks friends and family knew him as "Tommie".
Retired Command Sergeant Major Thomas Speaks served in the United States Army for over 30 years and he was a true faithful soldier.
Mr. Speaks leaves behind to mourn; His loving and devoted daughter; Stephanie Speaks, Two granddaughters; Ayana (Morris) Felix and Jayla Speaks, Two great grandchildren; Nyla and Jayce Felix, His sister; Emma (Charles) Wallace, Sisters in law; Beaulah Speaks, Virginia Capers and Nancy Speaks, along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Walk-Thru will be held on Friday, November 05, 2021 at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina from 5-7 PM
Funeral Service will be held at Bull Durham Center in Estill, South Carolina on Saturday, November 06, 2021; 1:00 PM
Burial will take place at First Thankful Baptist Church Cemetery in Estill, South Carolina
